ELECTRIC DOUBLE LAYER CAPACITOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that inner resistance rises at the time of charging and that capacity is small in many cases in a conventional electric double layer capacitor where density of a compact is raised for enlarging capacity. SOLUTION: A coefficient of viscosity on a mixed solvent is reduced by mixing a solvent whose coefficient of viscosity is low with a solvent of the electric double layer capacitor. Impregnation of electrolyte to the compact is improved, and a rise of inner resistance at the time of charging is suppressed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
