PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feedforward amplifier capable of improving remained nonlinear distortion by feedforward distortion compensation, easily adjusting a pre-distortion circuit and revising of the configuration or the like so as to downsize the pre-distortion circuit. SOLUTION: A distortion loop 18 detects a distortion component attached by a main amplifier 15 to an input signal led to the main amplifier 15. The pre-distortion circuit 12 attaches a distortion compensation component to compensate the distortion component to the input signal received by an input terminal to produce a compensated input signal. According to the processes above, an amplifier section amplifies the compensated input signal and outputs the amplified signal to a distortion eliminating section as an amplified output signal, and a distortion eliminating loop 23 eliminates the detected distortion component from the amplified output signal.
