PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casing for an electronic apparatus superior in electromagnetic shielding without disturbing infrared communication. SOLUTION: In the casing used for telephone equipment provided with an infrared communication function, a conductive mesh 2 is provided in the inside (or surface) of a resin layer 1 constituting the casing, and a mesh pitch of the conductive mesh 2 is set in a specific range.
