PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of equipment due to corrosion caused by dew condensation generated in a heat exchanger when water is supplied to a hot-water side while operation is turned off. SOLUTION: A hot-water supply machine is provided with a combustion part 12, the heat exchanger 13 performing heat exchange between combustion gas generated in the combustion part 12 and water from a water supply side, a flow rate sensor 11 confirming passing of water from the water supply side, a water amount controller 14 controlling amount of water passing through the heat exchanger 13 and having a closing function, an operation part 16 giving an instruction for operation of the equipment, and a control part 15 performing operation control based on the instruction of the operation part 16. When an instruction for stopping operation is given from the operation part 16, the control part 15 drives the water amount controller 14 to a closing side irrespective of a water passing condition and closes a passage on a hot-water supply side.
