PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel method which can arrange wires to be wound uniformly in all rows and in all stages when a bead-core having a hexagonal cross section is molded while the wires are wound by a former. SOLUTION: When the insulated wires are wound spirally in the channel part of the former along its width direction to form an arrangement layer, the winding action thereof is repeated alternately in forward and return passages, and the arrangement layers are piled up in a plurality of stages to mold the bead-core having the hexagonal cross section, the pitch feeding rate of the wires when the wires wound spirally is controlled according to the following conditions: (Pd-Pu/D)≥0.004 (Pd is the pitch feeding rate of the wires in the forward passage; Pu is the pitch feeding rate of the wires in the return passage; and D is the diameter of the insulated wire).
