PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the conventional walking stick for the blind that the existence of the guiding walking stick is hard to be recognized by the other passing persons in a crowded town or at night so that a facing collision is liable to occur. SOLUTION: This walking stick 1 is provided with a light emitting body. The light emitting body mounted on the walking stick and a power supply box 3 and the like are separated so that the power supply box 3 can be put in clothes and carried. Thus, the existence of the walking stick can be easily recognized by the other passing persons to prevent a collision, and the load on the walking stick produced by the mounted light emitting body can be reduced.
