<p>A supermagnetostrictive device which provides a high conversion efficiency while being miniaturized particularly in the radial direction, and an applied apparatus which purposes to enlarge the application by comprising this device. This supermagnetostrictive device (D) is used for an applied apparatus with various kinds of business applications comprises a supermagnetostrictive element (1) expanding and contracting with magnetic fields, a coil (2) disposed around this supermagnetostrictive element (1) to generate magnetic fields in response to voice signals input as electrical signals through an input signal line, biasing magnets (3, 4) which adjust the magnetic fields generated by the coil (2), a pin (5) which keeps one end in contact with the biasing magnet (3) and transmits a vibration obtained by converting voice signals to an object, and a case (6) which holds the above-mentioned components with the other end of this pin (5) projected.</p> |
