APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING A SIMULATED 3D IMAGE

A system for producing a simulated 3D image from a 2D image comprising a fresnel lens, the fresnel lens having a first plane of curvature positioned substantially transverse to a second plane of curvature so as to create a substantially convex lens. The fresnel lens may be flexible and positioned within a mount configured with adjustable tensioning members so as to tune the optical characteristics of the fresnel lens so as to optimise production of the simulated 3D image.
