The laser system has two laser materials (4,6) that have different laser emission wave lengths. One material (4) generates pumping light for the other material and the other material (6) generates laser light (16). The wave length difference is limited to 20% of the greater wavelength. For the laser light there is a second resonator (11) set at an angle to the first resonator (10).
