PURPOSE: Provided is a water purifier using a UV-C germicidal lamp, which has a first and a second quartz tubes with filters therein, respectively, around a UV-C lamp and removes germs in water in short time while the water is passing through the quartz tubes by irradiating UV-C rays to the quartz tubes. CONSTITUTION: The water purifier comprises a water tank(101) for storing influent water from a tap(10); a main body with a housing(100), a plurality of UV-C lamps(200) installed in the housing(100), filters(30) wrapping the UV-C lamps(200), and a pollutant detection sensor(65) installed above the filters(30); a cover assembly(60) with a power supply unit(50) for supplying power to the UV-C lamps(200), a control unit(61) operating by being controlled in response to a signal detected by the sensor(65), a lamp(63), and a display unit(62) for displaying the signal from the sensor(65); and a packing unit(300) for packing the main body and the cover assembly(60) to be sealed.
