PURPOSE: Provided is a compost medium for cultivating Agaricus bisporus which enhances the yield of Agaricus mushrooms by increasing the culturing cycles of Agaricus bisporus using cotton wastes or cotton seed hulls as a culture medium thereof. CONSTITUTION: In a compost medium for cultivating Agaricus bisporus using cotton wastes, 4000-4500kg(in the summer period) or 5000-5500kg(in the winter period) of the cotton wastes are mixed with 4.5% of rice hulls when they are dampened with water. When the medium temperature is elevated up to 40-50 deg.C during the process of controlling the moisture content of the cotton wastes, the mixture first flips upside down, and is mixed with 50% of dried poultry wastes, 1.5% of lime, 2% of urea, 2.5% of cigarette powder, and 5% of oil cake. After six or seven flips are made, it is again mixed with 5% of gypsum, and fermented outdoors at 50-60 deg.C for 10-15 days.
