<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly energy efficient fuel cell used for a wide range of output. <P>SOLUTION: The system comprises a separator equipped with through-holes a, b and c to constitute reaction gas manifolds A, B and C in the fuel cell, a gas flow path ab which communicates the through-holes a and b, and a gas flow path bc which communicates the through-holes b and c.
