GAS MANIFOLD FOR PLASMA ACCELERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure uniform supply and electrical insulation of gas simultaneously with respect to a positive electrode.

SOLUTION: A base material is a disk of insulating material. An outer circumference has a gas supply port 17 in one position. A gas passage 19 in communication with the gas supply port 17 is defined inside. The gas passage 19 branches circumferentially in succession toward an inner circumference. Terminal ends of the gas passage 19 are formed at constant circumferential intervals as many gas passage holes opening in positions corresponding to the positive electrode. With the gas passage holes in communication with the positive electrode, the gas passage 19 leads gas introduced from the gas supply port 17 to the positive electrode after circumferential distribution.
