<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an azimuth propeller capable of reducing noise and hull vibration by reducing or relieving noise and impact pressure generated when air bubbles due to cavitation generated at a strut of the azimuth propeller are collapsed and a vessel provided with the propeller. <P>SOLUTION: This azimuth propeller 100 is provided with the strut 4 provided to be revolvable around a vertical shaft in a hull 1, a pod 2 provided at the strut 4 and having a propeller shaft 6 transmitted with power from a driving means therein, and a propeller 5 provided on the propeller shaft 6. The propeller 100 is provided with a cavitation buffer means 110 to relieve impact pressure generated when the air bubbles generated when inclining the strut 4 to a flow are collapsed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
