<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding barcode reader with an adaptor capable of providing a plurality of reading directions by simple constitution without changing a barcode reader body or its basic functions and capable of easily changing a reading direction. <P>SOLUTION: In the holding barcode reader 101 with the adaptor 102, the adaptor 102 having a function capable of changing the reading direction of a barcode by changing a laser light outgoing direction of a barcode reader body 200 for radiating laser light in a prescribed direction and reading out the barcode is detachablly attached to arm parts 13a, 13b. In the adaptor 102, a notched part 10 capable of checking a laser light irradiation position is formed by notching a local part of the body in the vicinity of the outgoing part of laser light whose outgoing direction is changed by reflecting the laser light by an obliquely arranged reflection mirror 12 and a laser outgoing position display part 11 indicating a laser light irradiation direction is formed in the vicinity of the notched part 10 on the side face of the body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
