<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document management system which can visually appeal that a document is included in an electronic binder and at the same time indicate the content of the document when the document is displayed in a manner of thumbnail picture, and also provide a program for managing the document and a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The document management system divides a plurality of electronic documents into page units and produces an electronic binder by extracting specific pages from pages of the divided electronic document to file.
