<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal module which enables the illumination hardly causing uneven illumination even when using a long linear light source. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal module is provided with a liquid crystal cell 1, the linear light source 3 and a frame 4 which houses the liquid crystal cell 1 and the linear light source 3. A member 6 alleviating the brightness of the linear light source 3 is disposed on the linear light source 3. The member 6 is a translucent member exhibiting an opalescent color and is disposed in accordance with the length of the linear light source 3. The light quantity distribution of the linear light source is uniformized and the illuminance distribution is averaged by the member 6 disposed on the linear light source. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
