COMPOSITION FOR MOLDING SHEET SUCH AS GRAIN-LIKE SHEET AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SHEET USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for molding a sheet such as a grain-like sheet having flexibility, warm water resistance and fire protecting performance with excellent production efficiency and hardly producing efflorescence and a method of manufacturing the sheet using the same.

SOLUTION: The composition for molding the sheet such as the grain-like sheet contains: 100 pts.wt. base material composed of 50-93 pts.wt. latent hydraulic inorganic powder and 7-50 pts.wt. hydraulic cement; 0-50 pts.wt. pozzolan-reactive inorganic powder; 0-300 pts.wt. non-hydraulic inorganic material; 0.5-5.0 pts.wt. hydration reaction retarder; 20-100 pts.wt. inorganic powder containing crystal water and 40-100 pts.wt. water-based resin emulsion (expressed in terms of resin solid portion). The sheet such as the grain-like sheet is manufactured by spraying or applying water-based slurry of the above composition using an inorganic fiber reinforcing material as a core material to a prescribed shaped mold and reacting while drying.
