PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cultivation method using biodegradable mulch film which is entirely controllable under biodegradable degradation mechanisms, and making it easy to design materials. SOLUTION: The cultivation method using biodegradable mulch film comprises the following process: extending biodegradable mulch film 1 produced by using a biodegradable resin as a raw material on a ridge 2 followed by scattering field soil on the film 1 so as to cover the film surface with soil 3. The biodegradable mulch film is made of a biodegradable resin as a raw material, and extended on the ridge for plant cultivation followed by putting the soil on the upper surface of the film.
