PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital power amplifier having high power amplification efficiency. SOLUTION: In the digital power amplifier wherein a pair of first and second switching elements interposed between high and low power source lines are complimentarily operated and when changing over the turned-on switching element, a dead time is provided to control power supply to a low-pass filter, in a switching part, the first switching element, a first coil, a second coil and the second switching element are serially connected between the high and low power supply lines. The digital power amplifier has a first high speed diode of which a cathode is connected to the high potential power supply line and of which an anode is connected to a node between the second coil and the second switching, and a second high speed diode of which a cathode is connected to a node of the first switching element and the first coil and of which an anode is connected to the low potential power supply line.
