PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-quality switch button device for electronic equipment which is excellent in appearance as well as in dust resistance and does not make unpleasant sounds. SOLUTION: For the switch button device comprising a housing 1 with an opening of a hole 1A for projecting the upper part of a button 2 toward outside; a switch 7 for turning on by the push-down operation of the button 2 mounted on a substrate 6 inside the housing 1; and a supporting body 3 for supporting the button 2 in a cantilever support state, a packing 5 is arranged at a gap between the housing 1 and the button 2 in a pressure contact state.
