POWDER-SPRAYING APPARATUS AND PRODUCTION METHOD FOR SHEET CONVEYOR ROLLER USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder-spraying apparatus which has high durability and reduces wear caused by repeated collisions with powder. SOLUTION: The powder-spraying apparatus comprises a nozzle 22 defining an opening 24 for injecting the powder and a powder flowing path 20 leading to the opening and a straightener 34 with a curved wall surface which radially spreads the powder injected from the opening 24. The surface of a support pin 10 on the upstream side that supports the straightener 34 at the center of the opening 24 is covered with an elastic cover 12 of urethane and the surface of a support pin 30 on the downstream side is covered with an elastic cover 12 of urethane. An elastic body such as urethane elastomer hardly wears out even when colliding with alumina powder, thus improving durability of the powder-spraying apparatus. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
