PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent each identifying terminal from deteriorating in solder wettability and from being high in contact pressure, even when it is left unattended in an atmosphere. SOLUTION: The entire surface of each of identifying terminals 16, 17 is solder-plated, and the vicinity of the end of each of identifying terminals 16, 17 is gold-plated. As a result, contact pressure between the end of the identifying terminal 16 and the protrusion of the identifying terminal 17 which are contacted with each other is not increased and maintained at 30 mΩor less. Since the legs of the identifying terminals 16 and 17 are not gold-plated but only solder-plated, the wettability of the solder-plated legs 16 of the identifying terminals 16 and 17 is not deteriorated even when the optical and electric common use transmission device 11 is left unattended. Accordingly, the legs of the identifying terminals 16 and 17 are easily soldered, when the optical and electric common use transmission device 11 is mounted on a substrate. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
