PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid feeder in which liquid ejection characteristics can be altered readily through a simple arrangement, and a liquid ejector equipped with a head unit having a head assembled integrally. SOLUTION: A plurality of nozzles are opened in eight arrays and four pairs and eight channels 314D communicating with respective arrays are provided thus constituting a head 310. A first liquid feeder comprises eight channels communicating with respective channels 314D of the head 310, and eight feeding needles communicating with these channels and introduce liquid from a tank. A second liquid feeder 370 comprises eight channels 373A communicating with respective channels 314D, one shunt feeding needle 372 communicating with two channels corresponding to an intermediate nozzle array, and six non-shunt feeding needles 371 corresponding to nozzle arrays on the opposite sides.
