PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight and low cost tire tube and a tire using the same by appropriately establishing rubber gage in a tube circumference direction. SOLUTION: The tire tube 10 consists of hollow donut shape elastic body 1 provided with a gas injection hole 2 and is installed in the tire and used. Rubber gage is uneven in a tire circumference direction and is formed to make thickness of a part adjacent to the gas injection hole 2 thinnest. Preferably, thickness of the rubber gage gradually increases as it separates from the part adjacent to the gas injection hole 2 along the tube circumference direction and gets thickest at a part opposite to the gas injection hole 2.
