Namely, preparations, foods, drinks and fat compositions containing agents promoting the expression of an enzyme relating to lipid metabolism which contain a medium-chain fatty acid and/or a medium-chain fatty acid-containing glycerol fatty acid ester or the like as the active ingredient.
