Method for detecting molecules (A), especially peptides, (glyco)proteins, carbohydrates, proteoglycans and/or nucleic acid, that uses a metal compound (I) in presence of at least one reagent (II) that is at least bifunctional, including at least one each of hydrophobic part and reducing part. An Independent claim is also included for a kit for detecting (A) that contains (II), preferably in the fixing solution.
