The pump (40) with a non-metal surface in contact with a feed medium has a shaft (47) with a feed rotor (54) for the feed of a fluid medium (56) in a feed chamber (57), and a drive rotor (45) to drive the feed rotor, with a magnetic coupling in between the two rotors acting inside a clearance gap (48). A circuit for the fluid feed medium is provided between the feed chamber and clearance gap by means of a first passage lying outside the shaft, and a second passage lying inside the shaft, whereby the second passage runs outside the center of the shaft. An Independent claim is included for a procedure for the provision of a fluid feed circuit in a pump.
