<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalyst composite powder which has no pollution without containing chromium or lead and is capable of suppressing the formation of secondary particles with excellent dispersibility and restraining the deterioration of supports themselves even if the photocatalyst composite powder adheres to the supports such as a coating film or a fiber. <P>SOLUTION: A photocatalyst composite powder is formed by supporting a photocatalyst in a porous inorganic powder primarily composed of iron oxide. Preferably, the average particle size of the porous inorganic powder is bigger than the average particle size of the photocatalyst and the ratio of iron to all metals is more than 5 mol% in the porous inorganic powder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
