<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic keyboard instrument which can prevent the fault of operators and the damage of a floor surface even when a musical instrument body is placed upside down. <P>SOLUTION: An integral panel 4 is formed to a chevron shape of an approximately triangular shape in section. One forward slope 4a thereof inclines increasingly downward toward the front of a keyboard instrument body 1 and all of switch groups are concentrically arranged thereon. Another backward slope 4b inclines increasingly downward toward the rear. The apex of the chevron-shaped section regulated by the forward slope 4a and the backward slope 4b forms a ridgeline 4d (a projecting part) extending to the direction where keys line up. When the body 1 is placed upside down on the flat floor surface, at least three points, the ridgeline 4d of the integral panel 4 and respective front ends 8a of bass and treble cheekblocks 8, touch the floor surface. The heights, positions, shapes, etc., of the switch groups 5 are so set in this state that their tip sections do not touch the floor surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
