<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation measuring device capable of grasping the state, the size, the position or the like of a radioactive material (γ-ray source) inside a measuring object as a radiation image, or detecting remotely the direction or the position where the radioactive material exists, or performing nondestructive inspection of a structure including the radioactive material in a radiation background environment or to a very narrow part. <P>SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a sensor head 6 arranged oppositely to the measuring object 12 emittingγ-rays, an image fiber 4 connected to the sensor head 6, for transmitting an image of the measuring object 12, a camera 7 connected to the terminal of the image fiber 4, and an image processing device 9 connected to the camera 7. The sensor head 6 has a constitution equipped with a multi-collimator 1 formed by bundling a plurality of X-ray/γ-ray waveguides, for allowing a prescribed directional component in theγ-ray to pass, a fluorescent screen 3 for converting theγ-ray passing the multi-collimator 1 into visible light, and a shielding container 5 for covering the multi-collimator 1 and the fluorescent screen 3 to reduce a radiation noise. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
