PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a duplex tube and welding equipment for manufacturing the duplex tube by welding and joining an outer tube and an inner tube body while keeping a space around the inner tube body. SOLUTION: The duplex tube is manufactured with: welding equipment having a flange 6 which supports the outer tube 1, a flange 9 which supports the inner tube body on the outer periphery of which a bevel to be joined to the end part of the outer tube 1 is formed, a shaft 8 positioned on the center axis line of both flanges 6 and 9, a chuck 16 which clamps the outer tube 1 and the inner tube body which are supported with the flanges 6 and 9, and an introducing tube which introduces a shield gas into a gap between the outer tube and the inner tube body; and a method in which the inner pipe body is manufactured by joining the end part 4 of the inner tube, a dual tube combining member 2 and the inner tube 3, positioning connecting faces of the opening of the end part of the outer tube 1 and the connecting part by inserting the inner tube body into the outer tube 1 via the shaft 8, supplying the shield gas into the gap part 5 between the outer tube 1 and the inner tube body and welding and joining the inner tube body and the outer pipe 1 by turning the outer tube 1 and the inner tube body integrally with the chuck 16.
