PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller capable of smoothly changing a restart voltage after a power failure after restarting from the power failure to a rated voltage as an operation voltage before the power failure. SOLUTION: A filter circuit 9 is connected between the output side of an inverter device 2 for driving a plurality of hysteresis motors 3 divided into start groups No. 1 to No. n and the hysteresis motor 3, by a load input switch 4 for each of the start groups. A current detector 5 detects currents of the respective start groups to obtain a signal representing a level smaller than a prescribed current. When an operation control panel 10 for controlling an inverter device 2 receives at least one of the signals showing the level smaller than the prescribed current for the respective start groups, it is considered as restart completion after the power failure, so that the restart voltage after the power failure is changed to the rated voltage.
