PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a leakage current or the like between an intermediate terminal of a built-in resistor and a wall face within a neck, in a cathode-ray tube equipped with a resistor built-in electron gun. SOLUTION: This cathode-ray tube is equipped with the electron gun in which the built-in resistor 25 is mounted so that a divided voltage terminal t<SB>M</SB>of the the built-in resistor 25 directs in the direction of the electron gun electrode, and lead wires 35 for connecting the divided voltage terminal t<SB>M</SB>and the electron gun are joined by soldering 34.
