PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine improved in amusement by enlarging the variation of a winning state.

SOLUTION: The game machine includes: a shooting means for shooting a game medium toward a game area: a variable display means for variably displaying discrimination information for a prescribed time according to the achievement of a prescribed variable condition by the game medium shot by the shooting means; and a specified game mode performing means for determining and performing from a prescribed number of specified game modes to cause the transition to a mode advantageous to a prescribed member mounted at least in a game area when the display of the stopped discriminating information enters a prescribed display mode.
