<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit of an air conditioner that attaches and fixes a drain support mechanism for supporting a drain pump assuredly and that improves the reliability with a relatively simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: An indoor unit main body 20 attached and fixed under the roof is configured of a metal plate housing 21 and insulating material 22, and contains a heat exchanger 24 and a blower 23 therein, detects a water level of drained water of a drain pan 25 with a float switch 28, operates a drain pump 30 based on this detection signal, supports the drain pump 30 by a pump support mechanism 35 having a leg portion a bent and processed into an L-shape, embeds fittings 36 and 37 for attaching into the insulating material 22, fixes the leg portion a by exposing partially to the insulating material surface via a screw for attaching 43, and forms a hooking claw 40 for holding and fixing the leg portion a with the pressed insulating material by inserting the leg portion into a part formed with the crashed insulating material 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
