PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To associate survey information obtained from a survey device with image information on a survey site obtained from a camera easily and efficiently. SOLUTION: A half mirror M is placed on an optical axis L of a collimator telescope 17 of a survey device 10 at an angle of 45°against the optical axis L and the optical axis L is branched into an optical axis Lc. The lens center O<SB>L</SB>of an image pickup lens 22 of a digital still camera 20 is placed on the optical axis Lc. A distance from the point at which the optical axis Lc is branched from the optical axis L to the lens center O<SB>L</SB>is assumed as a distance D from the collimation origin O<SB>S</SB>at which the horizontal axis and the vertical axis of the telescope 17 cross each other and the branch point of the optical axes L and Lc, and the camera 20 is placed at a position optically equivalent to the telescope 17. An overview image of a survey site is taken by the camera 20. Arbitrary measure points Q<SB>1</SB>, Q<SB>2</SB>and Q<SB>3</SB>within the overview image are measured by the survey device 10. The measure points Q<SB>1</SB>, Q<SB>2</SB>and Q<SB>3</SB>are displayed on the overview image shown on the camera 20 and the correspondences are recorded on a recording medium.
