<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic field light emission element that has a high luminance characteristic, high reliability, and excellent thermal stability, provides an optional emission color of a comparatively long wavelength such as red, and has good color purity, and to provide a light emitting device or a display device using the element. <P>SOLUTION: In the organic field emission element, an anode 2; a hole transport layer 10; an emission layer 11; an electron transport layer 12; and a cathode 3 are stacked on a glass substrate in this order, wherein the emission layer 11 comprises a mixed layer of at least one of styryl compounds corresponding to a general formula, Y-CH=CH-X (where X is an aryl group including a phenyl group having a substituent such as a cyano group or methyl group, and Y is a group having an aminophenyl group as a skeleton); and a material having charge transporting capability. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
