TERMINAL PROCESSOR FOR OPTICAL FIBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal processor for performing processings while holding the end part of an optical fiber in the state of turning it downwards in the case of performing various kinds of the processings to the end part of the optical fiber. SOLUTION: The terminal processor for performing the processing to the terminal 3E of the optical fiber 3 comprises an optical fiber holder 5 for freely fixing and holding the end part 3E of the optical fiber 3 in a projected state; a holder mounting part 7 for freely mounting the optical fiber holder 5 in the state of turning the end part 3E of the optical fiber 3 downwards; and an end part processing part for performing the processing to the end part 3E of the optical fiber 3 fixed and supported by the optical fiber holder 5 mounted on the holder mounting part 7. Below the holder mounting part 7, a coating removing device for removing a coating material from the terminal 3E of the optical fiber 3 or a cleaning device for cleaning the terminal 3E of the optical fiber 3 or an end face working device for working the end face of the optical fiber 5 perpendicularly to an axial center is arranged.
