PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hermetically seal a metallized part of a multiple optical fiber to a through hole of an airtight connection component without using a special solder by using an ordinary fluxless solder. SOLUTION: An optical multifiber with a hermetic seal portion is provided with a multiple optical fiber 10 and a metallic airtight connection component 20. The airtight connection component 20 has an overall length equal to a length of a metal-coated part 12 of the multiple optical fiber 10 including coating parts having a required length on both sides of the metal-coated part 12, and a through hole 21 has a length to cover at least a part of the metal-coated part 12 from one end of the airtight connection component, and the component is not covered up to the other end from the covered portion, and the through hole 21 on the boundary of a non-covered portion 22 is formed into an inclined upward opening 24. A soldering part 30 for hermetically sealing the metal-coated part 12 in the through hole 21 in the vicinity of the upward opening 24 to the airtight connection component 20 and an adhesive-fixing part 40 for adhesive-fixing at least a part of a covered part 11 exposed to the non-covered portion 22 to the airtight connection component 20 are provided.
