PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized optical transmission/reception module to which stress due to a thermal expansion coefficient difference or the like among a transmission part optical system, a reception part optical system and a member for integrating and fixing them is not applied, and which is not affected by the stress even when attaching/detaching an optical connector. SOLUTION: The transmission part optical system 1 including a light emitting element and an optical fiber or an optical waveguide optically coupled to the light emitting element, for which the electric input terminal of the light emitting element is a flexible cable, the reception part optical system 2 including a light receiving element and the optical fiber or the optical waveguide optically coupled to the light receiving element, for which the electric output terminal of the light receiving element is the flexible cable, and an optical receptacle 3 for optical input/output are optically coupled, mechanically integrated and fixed.
