PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maraging steel strip excellent in fatigue strength characteristics by minifying the size of oxide base non-metallic inclusion remaining in the maraging steel strip. SOLUTION: This superclean Mg-containing maraging steel strip contain, by mass, 0.0005-0.01% Mg, and its A value expressed by the expression äA value = (mass% Mg)/(mass% O)} is≥1.0. Desirably, the superclean Mg-containing maraging steel strip mainly consists of the oxide consisting essentially of MgO as the oxide base non-metallic inclusion. Fther desirably, the steel strip contains, by mass, of≤0.01% C, 8.0-22.0% Ni, 7.0-20.0% Co, 2.0-9.0% Mo,≤2.0% Ti,≤0.2% Al,≤0.0020% O,≤0.0030% N, 0.0005-0.01% Mg and the balance substantially Fe.
