PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition having sufficient heat resistance and durability and excellent vibration damping performances and to provide a method for producing the rubber composition, a rubber molded product and a method for producing the molded product. SOLUTION: The rubber composition comprises 50-99 pts. mass of (A) an ethylene-α-olefinic copolymer rubber and 1-50 pts. mass of (B) a functional group-containing (co)polymer when the sum total of the contents of (A) the ethylene-α-olefinic copolymer rubber and (B) the functional group-containing (co)polymer is 100 pts. mass and (C) 5-100 pts. mass of (C) a siliceous filler based on 100 pts. mass sum total of the contents of (A) the ethylene-α-olefinic copolymer rubber and (B) the functional group-containing (co)polymer. The rubber molded product is obtained by mixing the rubber composition with a peroxide which is a cross-linking agent and cross-linking (A) the ethylene-α-olefinic copolymer rubber.
