HANDRAIL STRUCTURE OF OVERHEAD TRAVELLER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail structure of an overhead traveler capable of precluding breakage of a handrail caused by leaving the doors opened and misintrusion of an operator onto a girder. SOLUTION: The handrail structure of the overhead traveler is configured so that sliding doors 10 for intercepting passage to an inspection path on the girder 4 from a saddle 3 are installed at the two ends of the handrail 8 installed on the saddle 3 in such an arrangement as opened and closed freely and that a weight mechanism 11 is provided to energize the sliding doors 10 in the direction of closing through the action of the gravitational force.
