PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting device for toothed rollers which can make engagement in an equal pressure contact force to the printing surface without resorting to a costly molding method such as outsert molding. SOLUTION: The supporting device for the toothed rollers is equipped with a rod spring 29 with two ends supported by shaft holding parts, two toothed rollers 25 in a flat plate shape furnished with teeth at the whole periphery, and bearing means 39 and 43 to bear the toothed rollers from the outer and inner surfaces of each toothed roller. At the periphery of the rotational center, each roller is furnished with a bearing part 35 in cylindrical shape extending from the confronting surface side of the roller in the direction parallel with the axis of the rod spring and making slide contact with the peripheral surface of the rod spring, and the two rollers are located in the position where the rod spring deflects when their tooth parts are in pressure contact with the peripheral surface of a driving roller or the printing surface.
