PURPOSE: An artificial turf structure and a formation method thereof are provided to integrally pour permeable concrete to the surface removing the change of a base course to directly permeate, instead of concrete or asphalt layers in finishing the surface in constructing an artificial turf stadium, at the thickness of 4¯7cm with keeping flatness. CONSTITUTION: An artificial turf structure integrally pours permeable concrete(1) to the surface removing the change of a base course at the thickness of 4¯7cm with keeping the flatness, paves the artificial turf of 35¯60mm on the surface of the permeable concrete, and forms a semi-permanent shock absorbing layer by filling piles of the paved artificial turf with rubber chips(4) of 1.5¯2mm formed by crushing waste tires. A method for forming the artificial turf is composed of steps of paving artificial turf bodies having a constant width in plural rows and adhering joints of both edges of each paved artificial turf with an adhesive tape; filling some of silica into the piles of each paved artificial turf body; and filling the artificial turf with rubber chips of 1.5¯2mm made of waste tires.
