PURPOSE: A connecting structure for a variable muffler is provided to vary displacement and capacity according to a change in pressure of exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION: Plates(21,22) are integratedly attached to both ends of an exhaust pipe(20). A muffler(30) is formed in a tubular shape having predetermined volume, and of which connecting parts(33,34) are protruded on both sides of the muffler to receive both ends of the exhaust pipe in a predetermined section. The connecting parts are not welded to both ends of the exhaust pipe for moving of the exhaust pipe and the diameters of the connecting parts are gradually expanded to the outside. Corrugated plates(40) are interposed between both side walls of the muffler and both plates of the exhaust pipe, having a plurality of damps to prevent the exhaust gas from being leaked to the outside, and to buff moving of the exhaust pipe.
