PURPOSE: A device for washing a flow meter for cooling water is provided to remove scale from the flow meter without disjointing the flow meter. CONSTITUTION: A washing water tube(134) is connected to a cooling water tube(130) so that washing water passes through a flow meter(100) in two ways. A brush(400) is movably installed in the washing water tube, and washes the flow meter. A plurality of brush position sensors(410,420,430) are installed at the cooling water tube or the washing water tube, and detects the position of the brush. A control unit(300) generates a valve control signal for opening/closing the washing water tube. A plurality of washing valves(221,222,223) are installed at the washing water tube, and are opened/closed according to the valve control signal.
