PURPOSE: A medal loop for a tag with an improved structure is provided to reduce defective percentage, to ease molding, manufacturing and assembling and thus, to increase users' convenience for attaching the tag to the clothes. CONSTITUTION: The medal loop for a tag includes a body, front and rear covers(20,30), a string(40), and first and second insertions(51,52). The body has upper and lower elastic ribs combined together. Partially cut openings are symmetrically formed at both sides, and the width of the body is reduced from the entrance of the openings to the inside direction. One end of the string(40) with the first insertion(52) is in a loop shape, and after the other end of the string(40) is withdrawn through a hole formed on the tag, the other second insertion(51) is inserted into a rectangular hole formed in grooves(25,35) of the front and rear covers(20,30) to form the other end of the string(40) in a loop shape.
