DEVICE AND METHOD FOR OUTPUTTING LOGO OF COMPLEX PLAYER FOR VCR AND OPTICAL DISK

PURPOSE: A device and a method for outputting a logo of a complex player for a VCR(Video Cassette Recorder) and an optical disk are provided to output a logo screen displaying a current mode including a company logo when a medium is inserted into the complex player or a user stops playing. CONSTITUTION: A VCR controller(203) controls operation of a VCR player and entire operation of the complex player. A VCR deck(201) plays a video and an audio signal recorded in a videotape. A video signal processor(202) processes/outputs a VCR playback signal output from the VCR deck. A switch(204) selectively outputs the VCR playback signal and the logo screen. A DVDP(Digital Versatile disk Player) controller(304) subordinated to the VCR controller controls the operation of the DVDP. A logo switch(301) selectively withdraws a VCR logo or a DVD logo from a logo storage(302) by control of the DVDP controller. An MPEG(Moving Picture Experts Group) decoder(303) decodes/outputs the logo of an MPEG format.
